Cashmere is the yarn of queens: Pure luxury and myth at the same time.

The journey of my cashmere begins when the first frost settles over the high mountains of Asia: the time has come. The undercoat of the cashmere goat is brushed out by hand with wooden combs. This begins the process of creating the finest cashmere fibre. The degree of quality is measured by this traditional method. The more natural the fine fibres are obtained, the higher the price.

There are huge price and quality differences. It is often not immediately obvious that one jumper costs 89 euros and another 1500 euros. Why is that?

In contrast to luxury products, inexpensive cashmere is obtained industrially. The goats are bred in large herds and mechanically shorn. Even the waste is processed into threads, which then cover the consumption area.

A clear commitment: only the best for my customers. This means that we use yarns from Loro Piana Filati for our premium pieces. Only the Yarns of queens for you.

This is Italy’s traditional brand, majority – owned for years by LVMH, Moet Hennessy-Louis Vuitton SE, luxury to luxury.

Cashmere and Umbria – where do we knit our fibres?

In the green heart of Italy, where the people are even warmer than in the rest of Italy. The food is more hearty and savoury. The truffles from Norcia are an export hit for gourmets all over the world in winter. The strong red wine, Sagrantino di Montefalco, goes fantastically well with the local flavours.

Umbria, a region without a sea, but with the largest lake on the Apennine Peninsula. The Lago di Trasimeno nestles in the lovely landscape, or rather “Toscana feeling” is also to be found here!

You can enjoy pure nature on the old hiking trails of the pilgrims around Assisi and Gubbio. Perugia, the capital of the region, is a cultural jewel that must be experienced.

We knit our cashmere collections here in this region.

Our family manufactory – that is tradition and great expertise.

I experience the development of new shapes and knitwear looks here time and again as creative business power with a lot of respect for each other. It’s fun and inspiring over and over.

My care tip: cashmere is nature, it lives on even as a pullover. Please air it regularly, it needs to breathe, so it’s best not to wear it on two consecutive days. Wash carefully inside out, even in the washing machine. Spin-dry on a wool programme without temperature and dry flat. I steam my jumpers lightly!

Made with love is not an empty advertising slogan, but a way of life!
